WALK, BIKE, OR RUN FOR THE HOMELESS AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST - To benefit Maureen’s Haven

Dear Community Supporter

Join us, Rain or Shine, Just Show Up!

Peconic Community Council and it's flagship program "Maureen's Haven" would like you to join us for our Walk, Bike or Run for the Homeless on Saturday, October 17th.  Bring your family members, friends, individuals and fellow students or co-workers in raising money for, and awareness of, area homelessness.  Come out to the Pavilion at the Indian Island County Park in Riverhead (on Rt. 105 between Rts. 24 and 58) and join us for a 4-Mile Family Walk/Run/Bike Run, a 10-Mile Intermediate Bike Ride, or a 33--Mile Third Century Ride.  All  participants will finish the Walk/Bike/Run at the Grange Building on Sound Ave. (and Church Lane) in Northville for an olde-fashion Pancake Breakfast.

The participation fee is only $20 per person ($10 for children 12 and under).  Sponsorships of your mileage is strongly encouraged.  Pre-registrants will receive a commemorative long-sleeve shirt.

The Bike 10 and 33 Mile Rides will begin at 8:30 am; the Family Walk/Bike will take off at 10:00 a.m.  Non-Walkers/Bikers are also welcome to join everyone for pancakes at the Grange (Sound Ave., Northville where the Walk, Run or Bike a-thon ends) free for participants or for a small donation to others not in the Walk, Run or Bike a-thon for $6 adults, $3 children.

Applications and sponsor sheets are also available by calling 631-727-6831.
