Long Island Community Affairs is dedicated to providing consumer information to residential customers - particularly to those with special needs such as seniors, people with disabilities, low-income individuals and non-english speaking. Consumer advocates are social workers that help customers access financial assistance for their utility bills, make referrals to appropriate agencies, and educate consumers to an array of services available in their communities. Energy Packagers help customers access weatherization and conservation funds and programs to help them lower their utilities bills.

Brooklyn Union's On Track Program: One year program provides energy and financial information to customers in need of help. In order to qualify you must meet income requirements, must not be currently receiving Public Assistance, and must not have been in the "On Track" program in the past.
