A non-profit outpatient clinic serving the East End for over 25 years. Our administrative offices for the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Clinics are located at 155 Indian Head Road, Commack, New York 11725, telephone - (516)543-6200. Our main office for all programs is located in Hicksville.
We offer group and individual treatment and alcohol and drug education. We are an OASIS approved facility. The goals of Catholic Charities' programs are to give encouragement in attaining the highest potential for independent and productive living, and to maintain dignity and a feeling of self-worth by knowing that someone cares.

Services offered: Crisis Intervention, referrals to inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation, Groups for early sobriety, DWI/mandated and aftercare, services to significant others, co-dependants and ACOAs, Spanish speaking, Educational Forums, A. A., N. A., and C. A. meetings, and job training and opportunities and linkage to employment. All programs are fully licensed, we follow all confidentiality regulations, are experienced with mandated clients, have on-site psychiatric consultation, and a credentialed professional staff. Besides the Bridgehampton office we have two additional locations, one in Hampton Bays located in the basement of St. Rosalie's Roman Catholic Community Room Basement, located at 31 Montauk Highway East in Hampton Bays, New York 11946. We operate in Hampton Bays on Wednesdays. In Montauk we are located on the ground floor of Mother Theresa's Outreach Building, located at South Etna Avenue at the Parish of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Montauk, New York 11954. Presently we operate from this site on Wednesdays.

PROGRAM INFO
Employee Assistance Programs for clients ranging from corporations & school districts to labor unions. Our E.A.P. provides confidential evaluation, referral and follow-up services for employees with a broad spectrum of personal concerns. The Council provides speakers for schools throughout Long Island to help to educate all age groups about the consequences of alcohol and other drug use. A speakers panel is also available to talk to other institutions and organizations. The Council also organizes training sessions and seminars for alcohol and substance abuse counselors and other health care professionals on a range of topics to help them develop and enhance their skills.

Phoenix House East Hampton Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment: Adult and Adolescent programs, individual and group treatment, family counseling and intervention, early recovery treatment program, after care groups.
Phoenix House East Hampton - Residential: a 58 bed long term residential treatment program (approximately 12 months in length) servicing those residents who reside on the Eastern End of Long Island. Individual, Group and Family Counseling, Primary Medical Care, HIV/AIDS Services and Vocational Training provided to individuals with histories of serious, chronic substance abuse problems.

Suffolk Coalition to Prevent Alcohol and Drug Dependencies (PADD)

The Suffolk Coalition PADD is a membership, community based, not for profit organization dedicated to prevent dependency and abuse of alcohol and other drugs. We strengthen the effectiveness of prevention through quality education and training, advocacy, community organization, and administration of a regional resource center to foster resiliency. We work with individuals, families, organizations, schools and the business community to achieve our goals.

The Programs and purposes of the Suffolk Coalition PADD: 1. Education/training programs in alcohol and substance abuse prevention for small business, corporations, parents, agencies and other interested groups as part of our Center for Advancing Resiliency Education. 2) Suffolk County Addiction Training (SCAT) education/training programs for professionals who require credentialing/recredentialing as chemical dependency counselors; available also for health professionals in related fields, as well as counselor wellness. 3) Resource information, technical assistance and/or speakers for small business, corporations, schools, PTA groups, community groups, libraries, clubs and organizations relative to alcohol and substance abuse prevention and resiliency. 4) Education/training programs provided from needs assessment to implementation for agencies interested in developing in-service training both on or off site. 5) COMPASS (Community, Parent, School, Student), a school/community-based alcohol and substance abuse prevention/education program, WINNER OF A 1998 FEDERAL INCENTIVE GRANT, is currently in several Suffolk County school districts. This comprehensive approach incorporates all researched prevention strategies. 6) Publications which include a quarterly newsletter and a unique calendar listing drug and alcohol trainings, special dates and meetings occurring throughout Long Island and New York State.
